12th June 2026 – Diageo HQ, London, W1F 7HS

A one-day workshop for women* in the ‘messy middle’ of their careers

Are you 10, 15, or even 20 years into your career and quietly wondering if this is it?

You’ve built experience, credibility and responsibility but you may also be feeling stretched, uncertain, or strangely disconnected from the work that once motivated you. You’re no longer energised by junior‑level hustle, yet the idea of a neat “next step” or long‑term legacy may still feel foggy. Welcome to what we call ‘the messy middle’!

To help you through this stage, the ‘She Is Sustainable’ team are pleased to share another of our much‑loved workshops, designed specifically for mid‑career women working on sustainability and climate across civil society, government, and business. This isn’t a conference packed with panels and jargon; it’s an intensive day of personal development, connection and thoughtful conversation, all designed to help you feel more confident, more resilient and clearer on how you can keep creating impact with your career whilst in the ‘messy middle’.

In this workshop, you’ll have the space to:

  • Put down the professional mask
  • Be honest about your doubts, dilemmas, and hopes
  • Connect with peers who are asking similar questions
  • Rediscover the personal “why” behind your work
  • Begin shaping the next decade of your career with intention

As one previous participant shared:
“I came away feeling inspired to do more, full of confidence, and much more reassured about my career and life in general.”

What to expect
Across the day, we’ll combine facilitated peer‑coaching, reflective exercises alongside hearing first-hand the personal experiences of the ‘messy middle’ from women working at senior levels in climate and sustainability.

Our approach is deliberately flexible and participant‑led, allowing space for the questions you’re brewing right now. Expect honesty, depth  and connections that stay with you long after the day ends.

This event is being generously hosted by Diageo in their London office including lunch & refreshments.
